Overview

EDC (Electronic Documents Centre) is looking for a high-performing Sales Manager – Document Management Solutions (DMS) to drive enterprise revenue growth across the UAE and wider GCC.

This role focuses on selling Digitization, Digital Archiving, AI-Driven Document Processing (AIDP), and Document Management System (DMS) platforms to organizations operating in regulated and document-intensive environments—including Government, Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI), Healthcare, Utilities, Telecom, Education, Retail, and large enterprises. You will manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and position solutions that modernize content operations, strengthen governance and compliance, improve search and retrieval, and increase operational efficiency across the full document lifecycle.

 

Key Responsibilities

1) Sales Execution & Revenue Growth

  • Drive sales revenue and achieve assigned targets for digitization services (Scanning/ Indexing), digital archiving, AIDP, and DMS platforms across multiple industry sectors.
  • Own the full sales lifecycle: prospecting, qualification, solution positioning, proposal development, commercial negotiation, and closure.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets across the UAE and GCC (KSA, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain).
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline with accurate forecasting and strong CRM discipline.
  • Improve win rates through clear value articulation, competitive positioning, and executive-level engagement.

2) Solution Selling & Technical Leadership

  • Lead consultative, solution-based selling of:
    • Digital document digitization programs
    • Digital and regulatory-compliant archiving solutions
    • AI-Driven Intelligent document Processing (classification, extraction, validation, indexing)
    • Document Management Systems (DMS) and content platforms.
  • Translate technical capabilities into business outcomes focused on compliance, cost optimization, efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Understand customer document lifecycles, records management requirements, and data governance frameworks.
  • Support technical and functional discussions with stakeholders across IT, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Records Management, Digital Transformation, and Business units.

3) Market Intelligence & Competitive Positioning

  • Monitor market trends, regulatory requirements, and customer needs related to records management, data privacy, retention, and information governance.
  • Maintain awareness of competitors in digitization, DMS, ECM, and AI document processing spaces and benchmark offerings against EDC solutions.
  • Position differentiated value propositions during customer engagements, RFPs, and executive presentations.
  • Actively represent and promote EDC’s document management solutions at relevant government, compliance, digital transformation, and technology events.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage technology partners, system integrators, and service partners supporting digitization, DMS, and AIDP offerings.
  • Develop joint go-to-market plans, pipeline development initiatives, and account strategies with partners.

4) Collaboration & Partner Engagement

  • Build trusted advisor relationships with senior decision-makers and sponsors across public and private sector organizations.
  • Work closely with internal teams including Delivery, Product, Operations, Finance, and Technology to ensure accurate scoping and successful execution.
  • Collaborate with technology partners, OEMs, and system integrators on joint opportunities and go-to-market initiatives.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 7–10+ years of experience in enterprise software or services sales covering DMS, ECM, digitization, records management, or data platforms.
  • Proven experience selling to government entities and large enterprises across the GCC / MEA region.
  • Strong understanding of document management ecosystems, including digitization workflows, content repositories, search, metadata, retention, and access controls.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML-based document processing concepts such as OCR, classification, data extraction, and validation.
  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to records management, data privacy, auditability, and long-term archiving.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-stakeholder and long-cycle sales engagements.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
