Overview

EDC (Electronic Documents Centre) is looking for a high-performing Sales Manager – Card Solutions to drive revenue growth across the UAE and wider GCC/MEA.

This role focuses on selling payment card solutions and services to regulated BFSI environments—primarily banks, financial institutions, issuers, processors, and fintechs. You will manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and position secure card solutions that strengthen compliance, improve operational efficiency, and support scalable growth across card issuance and personalization programs.

 

Key Responsibilities

1) Sales Execution & Revenue Growth

  • Drive revenue growth and achieve assigned targets within banking, payments, and financial services.
  • Own the full sales lifecycle: prospecting, qualification, solution positioning, proposal development, commercial negotiation, and closure.
  • Identify new opportunities while expanding wallet share within existing bank, issuer, processor, and fintech accounts.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline with accurate forecasting and strong CRM discipline.
  • Improve win rates through clear value articulation, competitive positioning, and executive-level engagement.

2) Solution Selling & Domain Expertise

  • Lead consultative selling of payment card solutions, including EMV cards, centralized and distributed card personalization, and related secure services.
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer issuance models, operational workflows, and regulatory requirements.
  • Translate technical and operational capabilities into business outcomes focused on security, scalability, compliance, and cost efficiency.
  • Support complex discussions with stakeholders across Cards, Operations, IT, Digital Banking, Compliance, and Procurement.

3) Relationship Management & Market Intelligence

  • Build and manage senior relationships with decision-makers across banks and fintech organizations.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and contracts in line with company policies, margin objectives, and risk frameworks.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments impacting card issuance and payment solutions.
  • Represent EDC at relevant banking, payments, and fintech events, exhibitions, and industry forums.

4) Collaboration & Internal Alignment

  • Work closely with internal teams (Operations, Technology, Legal, Finance, Delivery) to ensure accurate scoping and smooth execution.
  • Act as the customer advocate internally to ensure alignment between commercial commitments and delivery capabilities.

 

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of sales experience in payments, card solutions, or banking technology (preferably within MEA).
  • Proven track record selling to banks, issuers, processors, fintechs, or other regulated financial institutions.
  • Strong understanding of the payment card ecosystem, including EMV standards, card issuance, and personalization models.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Management, or a related discipline.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
